Jaime
& Gen

LOVE STORY
Our story began in the midst of the pandemic when the world was on pause, restaurants were closed, and indoor dates were simply not allowed. But, as it turns out, restrictions weren’t going to stop us from getting to know each other! Instead of candlelit dinners, we found ourselves exploring the outdoors, taking endless walks through parks, and enjoying quiet picnics by the lake. It was in those simple, yet special moments that our love truly blossomed. Jaime proposed at the same park where we had our first date. It felt fitting—our love story had started there, and it was the perfect place to begin this new chapter together.
Fun fact: on that first date, we walked about 17 km—so much so that Gen ended up with blisters the next day but it was totally worth it (and now Gen always makes sure to wear comfy shoes whenever we go on long walks)!
And now here we are, three and a half years later, cherishing every moment of our engagement and getting more excited to say "I do!"
Our hearts are full and we're grateful for each other and all the amazing people who've been with us along the way.

HOW TO GET THERE
There are two airport options that you can fly into. YYZ is about an hour and a half from the venue, while Buffalo Airport is only an hour away. However, since it's on the US side, you'll need to cross the border, which may take some time. Most major car rental companies can be found at each airport.

BUFFALO NIAGARA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

WHERE TO STAY
We have a block of rooms reserved at the hotel located at the wedding venue. They are available from August 14 to August 16, at a special group rate. There are 13 rooms available (you can view them here); kindly note that the hotel is a boutique property and does not offer a restaurant or front desk service. Should you want to stay here, please let us know.
For those not staying at the venue, we've listed some nearby accommodation options below, as well as options in Toronto for those extending their stay. There are plenty of choices in all these areas—Niagara-on-the-Lake is our personal favourite. If you enjoy casinos, you might also consider staying in Niagara Falls; everything is within a short drive.

FAQs
WILL THIS BE AN INDOOR OR OUTDOOR WEDDING?
The ceremony will be held outdoors (weather permitting), while the reception will take place indoors. You’re welcome to go between the two spaces as you wish throughout the evening.
WILL YOU BE HAVING AN OPEN BAR?
Absolutely! Please remember to drink responsibly by having a designated driver if you are from out of town, or using ride-share services to get to and from the wedding if you plan to drink.
WILL THE CEREMONY BE UNPLUGGED?
Yes, we kindly ask that you put away your phones/cameras to fully enjoy the moment with us. We promise there will be plenty of photos and memories to share afterward.
IS THERE A DRESS CODE?
Our wedding will be a formal celebration, and we invite the gentlemen to wear a suit and tie/bow tie, while ladies are welcome to choose a floor-length gown or a formal cocktail dress. Regarding colours, feel free to wear any shade you love—just please avoid white. If it’s helpful, we’ve included our pastel colour palette here. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
Please note that, weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors on grass, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
